The view is incredible. From the lobby, from the rooms, from the breakfast restaurant. The staff was very nice, attentive and helpful. And they will even find you a place to eat when you cannot sleep at 2 am due to jetlag. It is a small, nice hotel with a familiar atmosphere. You really get the feeling you as a person matter to them. And that is a very nice feeling. I will recommend Albergaria do Monte and be happy if the opportunity to stay here turns up again.

Everything. I loved my sunny room and the view of the whole city panarama could not be beat plus I loved the all tiled bathroom too. Ditto for the breakfast room and the breakfast was a delight -.Varied and delicious with much to choose from. The location was just right to get about the city and see some of the sights. Lisbon is about a hundred times bigger than i’d Imagined so it would take very careful planning and/or lot’s of time see see all one might wish. Staff were great too as I believe this is a family run hotel but spotless and professionally run too. Really hope to return.

Friendly and helpful staff and, of course... the location/view! Taxi's are friendly and affordable -- this is particularly good in those cases you're not up to walking back up (quite a climb on foot!) to the hotel. Breakfast is most enjoyable from the top floor too.

Verbrachten eine Nacht in diesem Hotel. Hotel ist von außen eher unscheinbar und wirkt auch im Empfangsbereich etwas altbacken. Die Zimmer sind aber geräumig, top gepflegt und der Balkon bietet einen super Ausblick auf die Stadt. Top Betten und Badezimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal

Un hotel in una posizione davvero spettacolare, dove si trova un belvedere famoso per ammirare la vista della città, con tutte le sue stradine caratteristiche, del Castello di San Giorgio, del ponte del 25 Aprile, del fiume Tago, delle Rovine della Chiesa do Carmo illuminate di notte con una luce violetta davvero bella da ammirare! Ogni sera, prima di addormentarmi, direttamente dal mio letto volgevo il mio sguardo verso il Castello illuminato! Lo staff davvero gentile e disponibile, le camere molto pulite e curate, in uno stile non di design moderno ma più classico.Letto e cuscino comodissimi! In molti siti avevo letto fosse un hotel 3 stelle, in altri addirittura 2, ma credo che nel tempo i parametri cambino, negli asciugamani vi era il simbolo di 4 stelle, ma per me come servizi è un 3 pieno, tranquillamente. La sala per la colazione, situata al 4 piano, ha anche una terrazza esterna con tavolini dove poter fare colazione ammirando la vista e il Castello mozzafiato! La colazione a buffet molto varia ed abbondante, con pasteis de bata, dolce delizioso tipico di Lisbona fatto di pasta sfoglia e crema, dolci vari, affettati e formaggi con pane tipico, caffè (non certo come il nostro espresso italiano, ma bevibile), latte e thè, frutta fresca e succo d'arancia buonissimo.Bagno con vasca e cambio di asciugamani giornaliero, phon, campioni di bagnoschiuma e cuffia per doccia.Rubinetterie datate, senza miscelatore ma ben funzionanti. Finestre con doppi vetri, quindi la camera è insonorizzata, anche se l'hotel si trova in una zona tranquilla lontano dalla movida notturna.Aria condizionata.Unico neo, se proprio vogliamo trovarlo, è che sebbene l'albergo si trovi nel punto più bello della città con una vista mozzafiato, la zona non è servita da mezzi pubblici, ma questo ovviamente non dipende dall'Hotel, occorre fare 10 minuti in discesa per raggiungere la prima fermata utile per tram o bus. In discesa va bene, ma a salire può essere un problema per chi è pigro o poco sportivo, io ho beccato una settimana anomala per Lisbona con 45 gradi, di solito Lisbona ha una bella temperatura gradevole con brezza atlantica.Consiglio vivamente questo hotel a chi ama ammirare la vista di una città come me!
